Worked with Kier Construction Ltd, UK on various projects as a site civil engineer including tunnelling project in Fiji and a major dock extension in Felixstowe and then as site agent for the concrete works to an earth-fill dam in Africa and refurbishment of hydroelectric scheme in Wales, UK.

Senior Site Supervisor for major projects responsible for all aspects of the works including procurement, fabrication and logistics. Projects undertaken include the successful installation of more than twelve ocean outfall's involving both directional drilled and towed submersible pipelines ranging from 180mm to 800mm diameter and length up to 850m. Supervised various mine maintenance contracts and major pipe installation projects including BHP's Minerva Gas project in Victoria and the Fosterville Gold Processing plant in Bendigo. Management of the workshop support and logistics required for the Roxby Downs Uranium plant refurbishment project in South Australia and the Tasmanian Aquaculture and Fisheries Institute development. Team Leader responsible for all in house training of personnel and fully qualified polymer pipe welder in accordance with the requirements of the Plastics Industry Pipe Association of Australia.
